What do you pay?
The only cost you’ll need to cover is your insurance policy excess fee; the rest will be handled by the insurance company.
What is a loss assessor?
A loss assessor is hired by the policyholder to manage their insurance claim. The policyholder covers their fees, typically for handling significant claims. Loss assessors assist with every aspect of the claim, including liaising and negotiating with the insurance company's loss adjusters.
What is a loss adjuster?
A loss adjuster is an insurance professional employed by the insurance company to investigate claims. They assess the situation by interviewing the claimant, witnesses, and any other involved parties, while also inspecting the property damage to determine the insurance company’s liability.
Would I need to pay anything if my insurance void my claim?
Our primary role is to verify that the claim is valid before submitting any reports to the insurance company. We thoroughly review all policy documents and fine print to ensure everything is in order before proceeding with the claim.
If my claim fails, do I pay you anything?
We work on a “no win no fee basis” there is absolutely no charge to the insured whatsoever.
What do I pay the insurance for logging a claim?
The only cost you'll be responsible for is the policy excess, similar to a car insurance policy. If you make a claim, the excess, typically between £150 and £500, must be paid before the claim can move forward.
Would there be an increase in my following year policy?
Yes, your insurance premium will typically increase by around 10% in the following year if you make a claim.
